Generation 6 DIY build. Debug FTDI bridge issue.
I am having some issues with my DIY build of my Generation 6 electronics and thought I would post it to the forum for help from some fresh brains. I have hit a wall while attempting to upload the 5D code. So far, I have been able to flash the Sanguino bootloader however it seems that I am having issues with FTDI circuit. I have designed around the FT232RL in the past however, the current configuration for the FTDI bridge as it is implemented in the Gen 6 electronics is a typology that I am not familiar with. I can not achieve loopback and the serial monitor from the arduino IDE returns nothing upon query. My debug LED returns no response and remains bright regardless of the interaction. I am also trying to wrap my head around the configuration of the RX/TX data-lines from FTDI <-> atmega644P. Any help would be greatly appreciated. https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/9lU78iWmt41BbPvVB_O2xesRLXGGOGRB1d-inMtWQkc?feat=directlink
