01 - Preparation / collecting all parts
(lists of bolts etc coming later)

02 - Preparation of the Y-belt tensioner

03 - Assemble YZ frame

Note: Nothing is tightened yet, everything is hand-tight, tightening is done after accurate measuring (next step)

This is a rough measurement, with 300mm threaded rods the distances are roughly 128 & 168mm, note if you have 330mm rods, best is to cut them shorter, otherwise the M8 nut caps wont fit

Everything is only hand-tightened in these pictures

04 - Measure / finetune / tighten / level YZ frame

picture

1) Make sure the outer alu-alu dimension is 282mm roughly & handtight, make sure that the y-motor-plate (/midplate) is loosely in the frame
2) Tighten one side (closest to the y-motor-plate).
3) Tighten the y-motor-plate on the 122.80mm distance from the outer side (without the bearings)
4) Tighten the three bearings and the other side with correct outer distance off 282,00mm
5) remove torsion in the frame, put frame bottom side up and measure one side, while pushing other side down to the table (see pics below)
(note: the plastic Y-rod holders and Y-opto are still not tightened/finetuned.)

Make sure there is no torsion in the frame (see pics below howto check) or else you can never get the printbed aligned properly (because the Y-rods are not in one plane). To solve torsion issues tighten a nut on the correct side a little extra.. it will introduce new torsion, so fight torsion with the correct anti-torsion.
Its hard for me to explain this in text, so maybe a video is easier.. but in short once you understand the above, you can get the torsion out in few minutes.. (same goes for the total frame, that can also have torsion, because of the m8 threaded rods)
