Orca v0.43 DIY-kit (Unassembled - PRE-ORDER - 3-5 weeks lead time)
Orca v0.43 DIY kit is a build kit to build a complete 3D printer including heated bed that can print both ABS and PLA (bio-)plastic .
(note: when printing ABS often, its recommended to take ABS printed parts, due to the high bed temps needed for ABS)
v0.43 is buildable in one afternoon, mainly due to all linear bearings (10x lm8uu for x, y and z), plugnplay hotend and a new finetuned/optimized frame for even faster building/finetuning.
Alot less aluminium is now used, therefore less weight and a smaller footprint compared to v0.30, Orca v0.40 has a footprint of 28 x 38 cm (or 11 x 15 inches), but the build volume of 040 is increased.
Print volume is 25 x 22 x 19 cm (or 10 x 8,5 x 7,5 inches) for Orca v0.40 (depends a bit on hotend & finetuning setup)
The rectangular print volume gives a big diagonal size (33 cm or 13 inches).
The print quality of v0.40 is also much improved due multiple reasons, but also beacuse a completly new belt systems. Orca v0.4x has finer T2.5 belts and aluminium pullies for higher resolution/accuracy.
v0.40 comes with a plugnplay heater/thermistor for the hotend, so no more glue'ing / taping needed.
This product is excluding plastic filament.
Nozzle size: 0,35mm
For best quality, this machine comes with a 1.75mm hotend, if you need a 3mm hotend, this can be ordered seperatly in the webshop under extruder v10 (hotend + nozzle needed).
Anodised aluminium color: Black
